For brokers and agencies
Loss run software for commercial brokers
LossRunReports gives commercial agencies one place to request loss runs with an e-signed letter of authority, chase carriers automatically on day 3, 7 and 14, read every report into one claims table and hand producers a five-year summary with loss ratio. Renewals start 120 days out, so submissions reach markets early.
Built around the account manager's week
Account managers own hundreds of renewals a year. Loss runs touch every one of them, and most of that time is waiting and retyping.
Monday. The renewal pipeline has opened requests for every account expiring in 120 days. Letters went to each prior carrier with the signed authorization attached. Nobody typed an email.
Wednesday. Follow-ups went out to carriers that have not replied. Three reports arrived at the agency inbound address overnight and were matched to their requests by reference number.
Friday. The claims from those reports are in one table, reconciled against carrier totals. One report is valued 140 days ago and is flagged for an update. The producer reviews the five-year summary and edits the narrative.
The same flow works for new business. When a prospect signs the letter of authority, every prior carrier is requested the same day. The loss run software page shows each step.

What changes for each role
Account managers and CSRs
No inbox searching, no retyping claims, no spreadsheet of who replied. One request list with status per carrier and one claims table per account.
Producers
A five-year summary with loss ratio, large losses, open reserves and an editable narrative, ready 60 to 90 days before expiry instead of the week before.
Principals and operations
Fewer late submissions, an audit trail of every request and authorization, and controls built to support your GLBA Safeguards program.
Works with the systems you already run
Your AMS stays the system of record. LossRunReports does the loss run work around it.
Import your book from Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, EZLynx, Salesforce or HubSpot with a saved file mapping: insured, FEIN, lines, policy numbers, prior carriers and expiry dates. Export claims, summaries and documents back the same way, or connect through the REST API.
Carriers do not need anything new. They receive a standard request and reply by email or through a secure upload link. Insureds sign the letter of authority online in a minute.
For the details of each connection, see integrations. For how documents and claimant data are protected, see security.

What a submission looks like when it leaves
Underwriters read many submissions a day. A clear loss story gets read first.
Every account ends with the same package: currently valued loss runs from each prior carrier, a five-year summary by policy year and line, loss ratio against earned premium, a list of large losses with what happened and what changed, and the open reserves that can still develop.
The producer edits the narrative in plain language before it goes out. On the Agency plan, Build renewal submission adds ACORD application fields, dec pages, schedules of values, driver lists and payroll, so the market receives one file instead of a dozen attachments.
Read more about the numbers on the loss run analysis page, and about the package on commercial insurance submission automation.

Questions brokers ask
Will carriers see our agency or your brand?
Your agency. Requests carry your agency name and the reply address is your agency inbound address. The letter of authority names your agency.
What if our account managers already have a process?
Most teams keep their process and drop the manual parts. Request letters follow the same wording, and follow-up timing is configurable.
How long does it take to get started?
Import a client list from a CSV or AMS export, check the carrier directory, and send the first requests the same day.
Can producers see only their own accounts?
Yes. Accounts can be assigned to staff, and roles control who sees and exports what.
Can we try it before choosing a plan?
Yes. Upload one of your own carrier loss runs on the home page and see the extracted claims, reconciled totals, loss ratio and a short summary in under a minute, without creating an account. Plans start when you want to save, export or send requests.
Is there a long contract?
No. Plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the paid period.
